Teresa Fitzpatrick, PT, MBA
Teresa Fitzpatrick serves as senior program director for ReVital, Select Medical’s emerging cancer rehabilitation program. In this role, she provides staff development and mentorship to regional program directors throughout the country.
Before joining the ReVital team, Teresa spent most of her tenure at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) as director of rehabilitation services. Under her direction, MSKCC rehabilitation grew from a small acute care service focused on cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and bedside therapy to a comprehensive rehabilitation service adding value across the cancer continuum of care. During her time at MSKCC, Teresa also collaborated on several performance improvement initiatives that demonstrated early and targeted physical therapy interventions, decreased ICU usage and overall length of stay for thoracic surgery patients. Additionally, she secured grant funding to help support expansion into outpatient rehabilitation services developing an on-site outpatient pediatric gym to facilitate services for children attending the outpatient day hospital. Teresa also collaborated with hospital leadership to open a large off-site outpatient rehabilitation program that housed physical medicine and rehabilitation services.
Teresa holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Jacksonville University, a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of North Florida and a master’s in business from Iona College.
