Melissa Thess, PT, CLT
Director of Education and Quality, ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation
Melissa Thess is the Director of Education and Quality for the ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program, developing and overseeing the cancer rehabilitation educational program curriculum for the organization's national network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient therapy centers. In that post, Melissa drives the educational curriculum for courses and materials that are geared to both cancer survivors and therapists.
In addition, Melissa serves as the program manager with SSM Health Physical Therapy where she has created and marketed its Cancer Rehabilitation Program. She has also developed and delivered numerous live and webinar based courses on cancer rehabilitation. A certified lymphedema therapist, Melissa has been treating lymphedema patients since 2006. She has worked with many oncologists throughout the St. Louis Metro region and co-created lymphedema programs for various local clinics.
Melissa holds a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
