Amanda Hodges

Director of Implementation

Amanda is an oncology certified registered nurse who joined Select Medical’s ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program as director of implementation in 2018.  In her role, she assists in bridging the communication gap between the worlds of oncology and rehabilitation services by identifying the appropriate assessment of patients and documenting the workflow of the oncology referral to ReVital.

Prior to Select Medical, Amanda spent 18 years with The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Fort Worth holding roles of increasing responsibility from infusion & radiation nurse to site manager of five locations, quality & compliance director and director of clinical programs & support services.  Amanda was also involved with the center’s oncology program transformation including: The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Come Home program, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) certification, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Physician Practice Connections - Patient-Centered Medical Home (PPC-PCMH) program and Commission on Cancer Oncology Medical Home (OMH) accreditation as well as OCM and other payer initiatives. She also worked alongside Navigating Cancer in the development of their nursing triage pathways system and with Community Oncology Alliance Patient Advocate Network (CPAN).

Amanda’s early work was in the hospital setting with a focus on oncology, bone marrow transplant, pheresis/red blood cell exchange and outpatient services.

Amanda earned her B.S. in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and holds an associate degree in nursing from Tarleton State University.
