Kelley Wood is the director of research for ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation. In this role, she leads and oversees the strategy and implementation of research for our program.

Kelley was trained at Colorado State University. She earned a master’s degree in health and exercise science and doctorate of philosophy in occupational and rehabilitation science.

As a clinical exercise physiologist, Kelley has worked to develop, implement and evaluate community-based exercise oncology programs, including the ongoing Fitness Therapy for Cancer program at Colorado State University, which she co-founded in 2017.

Kelley is an emerging leader in the field of cancer rehabilitation. She has published over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts. She is an invited member of the American College of Sports Medicine’s Moving Through Cancer Taskforce and co-chair of the Research and Outcomes Taskforce of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine’s Cancer Rehabilitation Networking Group. Kelley is also the developer of the Exercise in Cancer Evaluation and Decision Support algorithm.
